Andrew Jones
About
Andrew D. Jones II is originally from Waxahachie, Texas. He recently graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law with his JD and a certificate in social justice lawyering. Andrew is a recipient of the Louisiana State Bar Association's Law Student Pro Bono Award which is awarded to just one law student from each Louisiana law school. While at Loyola, Mr. Jones participated in the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center’s Summer Internship Program working for the Louisiana Center for Children’s Rights and later externed with the Southern Poverty Law Center in their Democracy, Education, and Youth division. In his final year at Loyola, Mr. Jones dedicated significant time and effort to his work in the Child Welfare and Domestic Violence Clinic under the guidance of Timothy McEvoy. Andrew also proudly served twice as the President of the Lambda Law Alliance and mentored fellow students.
